Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Anti-TSLP is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process including delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above.
This antibody is specific for human TSLP protein. BLAST analysis suggests cross-reactivity with human TSLP based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with TSLP from other species has not been determined.

Target Information

TSLP is a 159 amino acid, four-helix-bundle hemopoietic cytokine that signals through a heterodimeric receptor complex consisting of the human TSLP receptor and the IL-7R alpha-chain.
It impacts myeloid cells and induces the release of T cell-attracting chemokines from monocytes, enhances the maturation of CD11c(+) dendritic cells, and promotes naive CD4(+) and CD8(+) T cells into proallergic effectors.
TSLP primes dendritic cells to produce large amounts of IL-12 after CD40 ligand stimulation, influences regulatory T cell selection, and maintains peripheral CD4(+) T cell homeostasis.
It induces allergic inflammation by directly activating mast cells and may be involved in inflammatory arthritis. Expression is observed in heart, liver, and prostate.
