Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity and consistency of monoclonal antibodies.
Unlike traditional polyclonals, these antibodies have a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, allowing for reproducible production across lots and eliminating biological variability.

Target Information
Adiponectin is a protein hormone secreted exclusively by adipocytes that regulates lipid and glucose metabolism. It plays roles in homeostasis and obesity, with decreased levels linked to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
In mice, adiponectin enhances insulin signaling and improves insulin sensitivity through activation of AMP kinase and PPAR-alpha, promoting fatty acid oxidation and reducing intramyocellular lipid accumulation.
