Carrier-Free
Reconstitution:
Briefly centrifuge vial before opening to collect contents at the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile, distilled water to 0.1–1.0 mg/mL. Further dilutions should be made in tissue culture grade buffered solutions with heat-inactivated fetal calf serum or low endotoxin BSA.
Storage:
Store lyophilized at ≤+4°C, preferably desiccated. Store reconstituted MCP-4 at -20°C in working aliquots. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 4 (MCP-4), also known as CCL13, is induced by inflammatory proteins such as IL-1 and TNFα. MCP-4 acts as a ligand for G protein-coupled receptors CCR2, CCR3, and CCR5. It activates signaling in monocytes, T lymphocytes, eosinophils, and basophils, which are associated with allergic responses.
