Target Information

IL-17F (Interleukin 17F, CTLA-8)은 IL-17 계열의 사이토카인으로, 활성화된 T 세포, 비만세포, 호염기구 등 염증성 세포에서 생성됩니다.
IL-17F는 알레르기성 기도 염증에 관여하며, 기관지 상피세포, 정맥 내피세포, 섬유아세포, 호산구 등에서 여러 사이토카인, 케모카인, 부착분자 발현을 유도합니다.
IL-17F는 IL-17A와 이합체를 형성할 수 있으며, IL-17R 수용체를 통해 단핵구와 호중구의 염증 부위 유입을 촉진합니다.
또한 TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 등의 발현을 유도하며, 류머티즘 관절염, 건선, 다발성 경화증 등 만성 염증성 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
TGF-β와 IL-23은 Th17 세포의 분화와 유지에 필수적이며, IL-17F는 내피세포의 혈관신생을 억제하고 IL-2, TGF-β, MCP-1 생성을 유도합니다.
