Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The BMP4 gene encodes a member of the bone morphogenetic protein family, which belongs to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily. These proteins are involved in growth and differentiation processes. BMP4 plays a crucial role in endochondral bone formation, and reduced expression has been linked to bone disorders such as Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva.
Alternative splicing in the 5′ untranslated region has been reported, producing three transcript variants encoding the same protein.
