Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine IL-7. The anti-Murine IL-7-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Murine IL-7 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, together with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Murine IL-7 (500-P57) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine IL-7.

Western Blot:
For detection of Murine IL-7 by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Murine IL-7 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under both reducing and non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Interleukin 7 (IL-7) is a hematopoietic cytokine constitutively produced by stromal cells in the bone marrow and thymus. IL-7 signals through the IL-7 receptor (IL-7R) to promote differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells into lymphoid precursor cells, which give rise to T cells, B cells, and natural killer (NK) cells.
