This antibody detects endogenous levels of DAPK1 only when phosphorylated at Ser736.
Target Information
DAPK1 (Death-associated protein kinase 1) is a large, calmodulin-dependent kinase involved in gamma-interferon-induced programmed cell death and acts as a potential tumor suppressor. It participates in multiple signaling pathways regulating cell survival, apoptosis, and autophagy. DAPK1 mediates both type I apoptotic (caspase-dependent) and type II autophagic (caspase-independent) cell death. It phosphorylates several substrates including PIN1, TPM1, STX1A, PRKD1, BECN1, TSC2, RPS6, MYL9, and DAPK3.
