Target Information
B-lymphoid tyrosine kinase (BLK) is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the Src family of kinases. BLK plays an important role in B-cell activation.
Protein kinases transfer phosphate groups from donors (typically ATP) to specific amino acids in substrate proteins, mediating signal transduction in eukaryotic cells.
These processes regulate metabolism, transcription, cell cycle progression, cytoskeletal rearrangement, cell movement, apoptosis, and differentiation.
