Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Dog, Bat, Hamster, Panda, Horse, Rabbit, Pig (100%); Elephant (94%); Opossum, Platypus (88%).

For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

Target Information

WNT2B is a member of the wingless-type MMTV integration site (WNT) family of highly conserved, secreted signaling factors. WNT family members function in a variety of developmental processes including regulation of cell growth and differentiation and are characterized by a WNT-core domain. It may play a role in human development as well as human carcinogenesis. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
