Product Specific Information
Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
Human, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Gorilla, Marmoset (93%); Dog, Elephant, Horse, Rabbit, Opossum (86%).
For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes encoding secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis.
This gene encodes a protein showing 94% and 80% amino acid identity to the mouse Wnt5b and human WNT5A proteins, respectively.
Alternative splicing of this gene generates two transcript variants.
