Product Specific Information

Description:
The 28-14-8 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class I, H-2D^b, and cross-reacts with H-2L^d, H-2D^q, and/or H-2L^q. Binding to the alpha 3 domain of H-2L^d is not dependent on beta2-microglobulin.

Each product includes:

  • 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
  • 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; use ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10^5–10^8 cells/test). Optimize titration for best results.

Important Notes:

  • NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
  • Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains with NovaFluor dyes.
  • CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
    • Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails before adding cells.
    • For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample (10^3–10^8 cells).

Based on Phiton™ technology utilizing novel nucleic acid dye structures engineered for optimized fluorescence with minimal spillover and spread.

Excitation / Emission / Laser:
496 nm / 511 nm / 488 nm (Blue laser)
