Product Specific Information
Description:
The 11-26c monoclonal antibody reacts with the delta heavy chain of mouse IgD. It does not react with other classes of mouse immunoglobulin including IgA, IgG, or IgM. IgD is expressed by peripheral mature B cells. The 11-26c antibody does not activate B cells.
Applications Reported:
The 11-26c (11-26) antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis to detect surface IgD on mouse B cells.
Applications Tested:
This antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and can be used at ≤0.125 µg per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically (typically 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). It is recommended to titrate the antibody for optimal performance.

0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
IgD is a type I transmembrane protein co-expressed with membrane IgM on mature naive B cells. It also exists as a soluble form in serum. IgD associates with the B cell receptor and contributes to signal transduction upon antigen binding.
