Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of EPHA7 only when phosphorylated at Tyr608.
Target Information
EPHA7 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors are implicated in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA7 plays a role in embryonic development. Receptors in the EPH subfamily typically contain a single kinase domain and an extracellular region with a Cys-rich domain and two fibronectin type III repeats. Ephrin receptors are divided into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and binding affinities for ephrin-A or ephrin-B ligands.
