ETV4 (E1A enhancer binding protein, E1AF / PEA3)
ETV4는 Ets 유전자 패밀리의 구성원으로, DNA 내 5'-GGAA-3' 중심 모티프를 인식하는 서열특이적 결합 단백질을 암호화합니다.
PEA3는 5'-AGGAAG-3' 서열에 결합하지만 PU.1이 인식하는 5'-AGGAAC-3'에는 결합하지 않습니다.
모든 Ets 단백질은 동일한 중심 서열을 인식하지만 주변 염기서열에 따라 결합 특이성이 달라집니다.
PEA3는 상피세포 및 섬유아세포에서 발현되며, 조혈계 세포에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 이는 주로 조혈계에서 발현되는 Ets-1, Ets-2, Fli-1 등과 대조적입니다.
