This monoclonal mouse IgG2a, kappa antibody is used as an isotype control for mouse IgG2a antibodies.

Target Information
Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigen exposure. It is the second most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in adaptive immunity through opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
It is involved in immune response regulation, T cell activation, and inhibition of B cell activation.
Mouse IgG2a is widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in therapeutic research including immunotherapy and vaccine development.
