Target Information
CD34는 111–115 kDa의 고도로 당화된 단량체 표면 단백질로, 다양한 줄기세포 집단에서 발현된다. 인간 조혈줄기세포에서의 CD34 발현은 가역적이며, 세포 부착, 분화, 증식 조절에 관여하는 수용체로 작용할 수 있다. CD34는 줄기세포가 골수 기질세포 또는 세포외기질에 부착하는 데 중요한 역할을 하며, 선택신(selectin)과 결합하는 당사슬 부착의 발판 역할을 할 가능성이 있다. 또한, CD34의 세포내 사슬은 protein kinase C에 의해 인산화되어 신호전달에 관여할 것으로 추정된다. CD34 이상과 관련된 질환으로는 dermatofibrosarcoma 및 neurofibroma가 보고되어 있다.
