Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
KCNJ3 encodes a G protein-controlled potassium channel. Inward rectifier potassium channels preferentially allow potassium influx rather than efflux. Their voltage dependence changes with extracellular potassium concentration, shifting to more positive voltages as external potassium increases. Inward rectification is mainly due to blockage of outward current by internal magnesium. This receptor is critical for heartbeat regulation.
