Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
J chain is a small glycopeptide synthesized by plasma cells secreting polymeric immunoglobulins.
It is linked to IgA and IgM by disulfide bonds and has also been detected in IgG- and IgD-containing cells.
J chains are abundant in immunoglobulin-positive cells within germinal centers of tonsils and lymph nodes.
B cells express J chain early in differentiation, especially those producing IgA or IgM.
