Product Specific Information

The 104 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD45 molecule (leukocyte common antigen, LCA) in CD45.2-expressing mouse strains such as C57BL/6, BALB/c, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, C3H/He, CBA, 129, A, and AKR. CD45.2 is expressed by all leukocytes in these strains.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested with mouse splenocytes at ≤0.5 µg/test in 100 µL volume. Optimal titration recommended.

Super Bright 645 is a tandem dye excited at 405 nm and emits at 645 nm. Use a 660/20 bandpass filter and ensure instrument compatibility.

When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, apply Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) with minimal brightness loss.

Target Information

CD45.2 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It regulates Src-family kinases, influencing lymphocyte development and antigen signaling. CD45.2 isoforms differ by extracellular domains and expression patterns. It also modulates integrin-mediated survival signaling and participates in apoptosis-related DNA fragmentation. CD45RA is an isoform with restricted lymphoid expression.
