Target Information
MATK (Hyl) is a non-receptor CSK-type protein tyrosine kinase involved in signal transduction pathways important for megakaryocyte growth and differentiation.
It plays a significant role in hematopoietic cell signaling, phosphorylates and inactivates Src family kinases, and may inhibit T-cell proliferation.
MATK may also be implicated in signaling related to certain breast cancer cases.
