This antibody recognizes R-Ras2 / TC21 protein (intracellular antigen) and does not react with R-Ras1, H-Ras, K-Ras, or N-Ras.
Target Information
RRAS2 is a member of the Ras-related protein family involved in cell signaling. It shares 55–60% amino acid identity with classical Ras proteins (H-Ras, K-Ras, N-Ras). RRAS2 functions as a small GTP-binding protein that may transduce growth inhibitory signals via a Ras-shared effector. Overexpression or mutations of RRAS2 have been associated with various human cancers and tumor cell lines.
