This antibody recognizes human intracellular protein ARHGEF4 / ASEF1, approximately 80 kDa guanine nucleotide exchange factor specific for Rac1 and Cdc42.
The epitope is located near the SH3 domain region.
Target Information
Rho GTPases are key regulators of cellular processes triggered by extracellular stimuli via G protein-coupled receptors.
ARHGEF4 may form complexes with G proteins to stimulate Rho-dependent signaling.
This protein shares similarity with rat collybistin and has two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Multiple polyadenylation sites may exist for this gene.
