Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Leucine-rich repeat transmembrane neuronal proteins (LRRTMs) are differentially expressed in the nervous system and play key roles in synaptic differentiation. LRRTM1 and LRRTM2 are potent in inducing presynaptic differentiation.
Each LRRTM protein is a type I transmembrane protein containing ten extracellular leucine-rich repeats and a short intracellular tail. LRRTM1 is maternally suppressed and paternally associated with handedness and schizophrenia.
