Target Information
Plasminogen은 주로 간에서 합성되는 혈장 단백질로, 단일 폴리펩타이드 사슬로 구성되어 있으며 분자량은 약 88.5 kDa입니다. 혈장 내 농도는 일반적으로 70–200 mg/L 범위에 있습니다.
이 단백질은 tissue-plasminogen activator, urokinase, streptokinase에 의해 활성화되어 plasmin으로 전환됩니다. 활성화 과정은 preactivation peptide의 절단 및 방출로 이루어집니다.
Plasmin은 5개의 kringle 도메인을 포함하는 heavy (A-) chain과 활성 부위를 가진 light (B-) chain으로 구성됩니다.
Plasmin은 fibrin을 기질로 하는 trypsin 유사 protease로, fibrin 결합 부위는 kringle 구조에 존재합니다.
Plasmin은 섬유소 용해(fibrinolysis)에 필수적이며, plasmin의 선천적 결함으로 인한 섬유소 용해능 감소는 재발성 혈전증, 혈전정맥염, 폐색전증 등을 유발할 수 있습니다.
