Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Lin28 is a transcription factor first identified for its role in developmental timing in C. elegans. Its function in development suggests utility in generating stem cells for cell replacement therapies.
Induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells can be created by expressing Lin28 together with transcription factors POU5F1, Sox2, and NANOG in mouse fibroblasts.
Recent studies show that iPS cells can also be generated using plasmids expressing Lin28, Sox2, POU5F1, and c-Myc, eliminating viral vectors and enhancing safety for regenerative medicine applications.
