Target Information

BRAF is involved in the transduction of mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus. It is activated by somatic point mutation in human cancer and plays a role in postsynaptic responses of hippocampal neurons. This protein regulates the MAP kinase/ERKs signaling pathway, influencing cell division, differentiation, and secretion. Mutations in B-Raf are associated with cancers such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and lung adenocarcinoma. A pseudogene located on chromosome X has been identified for B-Raf.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
