Product Specific Information
- 86% identical to rat, and 85% identical to mouse; <50% identity with ATF5
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45648 detects ATF4 (~60 kDa) in 20 µg rat brain lysate by immunoblot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP secondary antibody
- Does not cross-react with ATF5

Target Information
ATF4는 HTLV-1의 LTR에 존재하는 tax-responsive enhancer element에 결합할 수 있는 DNA 결합 단백질로 처음 확인된 전사 인자입니다.
CREB-2로도 알려져 있으며, AP-1, CREB, CREB-like 단백질을 포함하는 DNA 결합 단백질 가족에 속합니다.
이들 전사 인자는 leucine zipper 영역을 통해 단백질 간 상호작용을 하며, DNA 결합 도메인은 기본 아미노산 서열에 의해 구성됩니다.
동일한 단백질을 암호화하는 두 가지 대체 전사체가 보고되었으며, 두 개의 유사 유전자가 X 염색체 q28 영역에 위치합니다.
