Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is structurally similar to the CDC46 protein from S. cerevisiae, which is involved in the initiation of DNA replication. It belongs to the MCM family of chromatin-binding proteins and interacts with other members of this family. The encoded protein is upregulated during the transition from the G0 to G1/S phase of the cell cycle and may play a role in cell cycle regulation.
