Target Information
Neurotrophic factors regulate the survival, differentiation, and maintenance of neurons in both the peripheral and central nervous systems, as well as other neural crest-derived cell types. Developing sympathetic neurons depend on nerve growth factor (NGF) during target competition in vivo.
Antibodies specific to NGFR p75 are valuable tools for detecting and characterizing NGFR p75, aiding in studies of neural development, plasticity, and repair.
