Product Specific Information

The MR1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD154 (CD40 Ligand), a 39 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein transiently expressed by activated T cells.
CD154 binds to CD40 on antigen-presenting cells (B cells, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells) and plays a key role in T cell–APC interaction, promoting T-dependent B cell activation and proliferation.

• Application Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
• Application Tested: Flow cytometry of stimulated mouse splenocytes (≤0.25 µg/test)
  • One test = antibody amount for 100 µL cell suspension (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
  • Optimize antibody titration for best results

Light Sensitivity: PE-Cyanine7 is light-sensitive. Protect from light during storage and staining.
Fixation: Samples may be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using:

Target Information

CD40 Ligand (CD40-L, CD154) is a membrane glycoprotein expressed on activated T cells. It stimulates B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines, induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in monocytes, and co-stimulates activated T cells to produce IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2.
