Target Information
Glucocorticoid Receptor (NR3C1)는 글루코코르티코이드의 수용체로서 전사 인자(transcription factor)로 작용하거나 다른 전사 인자의 조절자로서 기능합니다. 이 수용체는 heat shock factor 및 immunophilin과 함께 복합체를 형성하며, 리간드 결합 시 핵으로 이동합니다.
심장(좌우 심방, 좌우 심실, 대동맥, 심첨, 심실중격, 방실결절 등)에서 발현되며, 성체 및 태아 심장에서도 검출됩니다.
대체 스플라이싱 및 다양한 프로모터 사용으로 여러 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 일부는 완전 길이가 규명되지 않았습니다.
Glucocorticoid Receptor 유전자의 변이는 글루코코르티코이드 저항성(코르티솔 저항성)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
활성화를 위해 chaperone 단백질 복합체와 결합해야 하며, dexamethasone과 같은 스테로이드에 나노몰 수준의 친화도로 결합합니다.
