Product Specific Information
PA1-4517 detects P2Y purinoceptor 2 in human, rat, and mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in Western blot and Immunohistochemistry procedures.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide comprising internal residues of the human P2Y2 protein, and it reacts with rat and mouse P2Y2.
Maintain at 4°C for up to 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
The P2Y2 gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor responsive to both adenosine and uridine nucleotides.
This receptor may participate in the control of the cell cycle of endometrial carcinoma cells.
Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
