Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity and consistency of monoclonal antibodies. These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot is produced with a known mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating the biological variability found in traditional polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information

IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD; in mouse, also known as cytokine responsive gene 2, Crg-2, or mob-1) belongs to the CXC chemokine superfamily and was first cloned in 1985. Although its biological functions are not fully understood, IP-10 does not act on neutrophils. It stimulates monocyte, NK, and T-cell migration, regulates T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation, modulates adhesion molecule expression, and inhibits angiogenesis. IP-10 and Mig share the same receptor, CXCR3.
