Target Information

DYKDDDDK tag, also known as FLAG tag, is a short peptide consisting of eight amino acids (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys). It is widely used in molecular biology and biochemistry for protein purification, detection, and localization. The hydrophilic nature of the FLAG tag minimizes interference with protein folding or activity, making it ideal for various protein studies including expression analysis and protein-protein interaction assays.
