Target Information
The CD93 protein is a cell-surface glycoprotein and type I membrane protein originally identified as a myeloid cell-specific marker. It was once thought to be a receptor for C1q but is now known to be involved in intercellular adhesion and clearance of apoptotic cells. Its intracellular cytoplasmic tail interacts with moesin, which links transmembrane proteins to the cytoskeleton and plays a role in cytoskeletal remodeling.
