For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Sulfatases, such as ARSG, hydrolyze sulfate esters from sulfated steroids, carbohydrates, proteoglycans, and glycolipids. They are involved in hormone biosynthesis, modulation of cell signaling, and degradation of macromolecules.
ARSG, a novel arylsulfatase, shows activity toward pseudosubstrates such as p-nitrocatechol sulfate and 4-methylumbelliferyl sulfate, with phosphate acting as a competitive inhibitor.
The unprocessed protein is active as a 63-kDa monomer, exhibits an acidic pH optimum typical of lysosomal sulfatases, accumulates within lysosomes, and is a glycoprotein that binds specifically to mannose 6-phosphate receptors.
