For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Sulfatases such as ARSG hydrolyze sulfate esters from sulfated steroids, carbohydrates, proteoglycans, and glycolipids. They play roles in hormone biosynthesis, modulation of cell signaling, and degradation of macromolecules.
ARSG is a novel arylsulfatase with activity toward pseudosubstrates including p-nitrocatechol sulfate and 4-methylumbelliferyl sulfate, competitively inhibited by phosphate.
The unprocessed protein functions as a 63-kDa monomer with an acidic pH optimum typical of lysosomal sulfatases. It accumulates within lysosomes and is a glycoprotein that binds specifically to mannose 6-phosphate receptors.
