For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments with this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

Sulfatases, such as ARSG, hydrolyze sulfate esters from sulfated steroids, carbohydrates, proteoglycans, and glycolipids. They play roles in hormone biosynthesis, modulation of cell signaling, and macromolecule degradation.
ARSG is a novel arylsulfatase active toward pseudosubstrates such as p-nitrocatechol sulfate and 4-methylumbelliferyl sulfate, and its activity is competitively inhibited by phosphate. The unprocessed protein functions as a 63-kDa monomer with an acidic pH optimum typical of lysosomal sulfatases. It accumulates within lysosomes and is a glycoprotein binding specifically to mannose 6-phosphate receptors.
