Target Information
FRS2 is an adaptor protein that links activated FGR and NGF receptors to downstream signaling pathways. It plays a key role in MAP kinase activation and phosphorylation of PIK3R1 (the regulatory subunit of PI3K) in response to FGFR1 activation. FRS2 also modulates SHC1-mediated signaling by competing for a common binding site on NTRK1.
