This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, feline, non-human primate, mouse, rat, ovine, and porcine based on sequence homology.

On a non-reducing gel, intact IgG appears as a ~150 kDa band; upon reduction, it generates a ~25 kDa light chain and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

The SQSTM1 gene encodes a multifunctional protein that binds ubiquitin and regulates activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway. It acts as a scaffolding/adaptor protein with TNF receptor-associated factor 6 to mediate NF-κB activation in response to upstream signals.

Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Mutations in this gene are associated with sporadic and familial Paget disease of bone.
