Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, non-human primate, rat, and ovine based on sequence homology.
On a non-reducing gel, intact IgG appears as a ~150 kDa band, and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain band.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Histone H3 is one of the DNA-binding proteins found in chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Along with four core histone proteins, H3 binds to DNA forming nucleosome structure.
Histones play crucial roles in:

The N-terminal tail of histone H3 protrudes from the globular nucleosome core and undergoes various post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influencing chromatin structure and gene expression.
