- 본 항체는 서열 상동성에 기반하여 소(bovine), 말(equine), 염소(goat), 비인간 영장류(non-human primate), 쥐(rat), 돼지(porcine)에서도 반응할 것으로 예측됩니다.
- 비환원 조건에서 약 150 kDa의 밴드로 나타나며, 환원 시 약 25 kDa(light chain) 및 50 kDa(heavy chain) 밴드로 분리됩니다.
- 재조합 토끼 단일클론 항체는 면역 반응성 토끼로부터 항체 DNA 서열을 클로닝하여 체외 발현 시스템을 통해 생산됩니다.
- 주요 장점: 높은 특이성과 감도, 로트 간 일관성, 동물 유래 성분 없음, 넓은 면역 반응성.
Target Information
KIT (c-KIT)는 MGF(mast cell growth factor, stem cell factor)의 수용체로, type 3 transmembrane receptor입니다.
KIT는 다양한 조혈 및 비조혈 세포의 성장과 활성화를 조절하며, 돌연변이는 위장관 기질종양(GIST), 비만세포 질환, 급성골수성백혈병(AML), piebaldism과 관련이 있습니다.
SCF와 결합 시 c-Kit은 이합체화되어 자가 인산화 및 신호 전달 경로(Ras/ERK, PI3K, PLC-γ, JAK/STAT 등)를 활성화합니다.
이 수용체는 조혈, 줄기세포 유지, 생식세포 형성에 필수적입니다.
