Description:
This TB01 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD57 (HNK-1, Leu-7), a 110-kDa cell surface glycoprotein expressed on subsets of NK and NKT cells.

Applications Reported:
Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test. A test is defined as staining a cell sample in 100 µL final volume (cell count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Light Sensitivity:
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.

Excitation/Emission:
488–561 nm excitation; 775 nm emission; compatible with Blue, Green, Yellow-Green lasers.

Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

CD57 (HNK-1, Leu-7) is an oligosaccharide antigenic determinant found on various polypeptides, lipids, and chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans. Its biological function remains unclear. CD57 is expressed on subsets of NK and NKT cells.
