Product Specific Information
The M5/114.15.2 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class II molecules (I-A and I-E subregion glycoproteins). It recognizes polymorphic determinants on B cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated T lymphocytes from specific mouse haplotypes (H-2 b, d, q, p, r, u).
This antibody inhibits I-A-restricted T cell responses in certain haplotypes and is validated for flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes at ≤0.03 µg/test.
Excitation: 633–647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
Post-manufacturing filtration: 0.2 µm.
Target Information
MHC class II molecules are transmembrane glycoproteins expressed on antigen-presenting cells (macrophages, dendritic cells, B cells). They present processed exogenous antigens to T cells via a peptide-binding groove of 15–24 amino acids.
HLA and MHC antibodies are essential in Immunopeptidomics, aiding neoantigen identification and characterization through LC-MS/MS.
