Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining the consistency of recombinant production.

These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating the biological variability found in traditional polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the lipocalin family, which includes extracellular proteins capable of binding lipophilic molecules within their structure to minimize solvent contact. This protein may bind hydrophobic ligands, inhibit cysteine proteinases, and play a role in taste reception.
