For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
OTX2 is a 289-amino-acid protein and a member of the bicoid sub-family of homeodomain-containing transcription factors.
It has two known alternative splice variants with distinct isoforms, though other isoforms may exist.
OTX2 is an early marker of endodermal differentiation in embryonic stem cells and plays a role in brain and sensory organ development.
It may bind to the BCD target sequence (BTS): 5′-TCTAATCCC-3′.
Defects in OTX2 are associated with microphthalmia syndromic type 5 (MCOPS5).
