Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
CD3d is part of the T-cell receptor/CD3 complex (TCR/CD3 complex) and plays a role in T-cell development and signal transduction. It represents the delta subunit of the CD3 complex, which, together with other CD3 subunits, binds TCR alpha/beta or TCR gamma/delta to form the TCR/CD3 complex on T-cell surfaces.
Defects in the CD3d gene can cause severe combined immunodeficiency (SCIDBNK). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms of CD3d have been identified; other variants may exist but are not fully defined.
