Product Specific Information
This antibody detects a 40 kDa protein corresponding to the molecular mass of Crk II on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of rat PC12 and human Jurkat cells.
Target Information
Crk-I and Crk-II differ in biological activities. Crk-II has less transforming activity than Crk-I and mediates attachment-induced MAPK8 activation, membrane ruffling, and cell motility in a Rac-dependent manner. It is involved in phagocytosis of apoptotic cells and cell motility via interaction with DOCK1 and DOCK4, and may regulate EFNA5-EPHA3 signaling.
