This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
CD38 (NAD+ glycohydrolase) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein involved in activation, proliferation, and differentiation of mature lymphocytes, and mediates apoptosis of progenitor cells. It functions as a multi-catalytic ectoenzyme (ADP-ribosyl cyclase, cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase, NAD+ glycohydrolase) and as a cell surface receptor.
Applications of CD38 antibodies:
- Subtyping lymphomas and leukemias
- Detection of plasma cells (e.g., myeloma identification)
- Marker for activated B and T cells
CD38 also participates in cell adhesion, signal transduction, and calcium signaling. It is expressed at high levels in the pancreas, liver, kidney, malignant lymphoma, and neuroblastoma.
