CD35 (CR1, Complement Receptor 1)은 세포막 결합 단량체성 당단백질로, 보체 시스템의 주요 구성 요소인 C3b 및 C4b의 세포 수용체 역할을 합니다.
CD35 단백질은 활성화된 보체 입자 및 면역 복합체에 대한 세포 결합을 매개하며, 보체 활성 억제 및 C3b 복합체의 결합 및 식작용을 촉진합니다.
CD35는 중성구, 호산구, 단핵구, B세포, 일부 NK세포, 적혈구, 골수성 백혈병 세포, 여포성 수지상세포 등에서 발현되며, 호염기구에서는 음성입니다.
CD35 발현 감소 또는 유전자 변이는 담낭암, 메산지오카필러리 사구체신염, 전신성 홍반성 루푸스, 사르코이드증 등과 관련이 있으며, 말라리아 감염에 대한 보호 효과를 나타내는 변이도 보고되었습니다.
다양한 대립유전자 특이적 스플라이스 변이체 및 분비형 형태도 확인되었습니다.
